Relational Awakening Research

Research limits

What the study can and cannot answer

A report can establish that an experience was reported. It does not by itself establish why it occurred, what another person privately feels, or which metaphysical explanation is true.

Scope

What appropriate research may describe—and what it cannot verify

The study may help describe

  • Patterns in reported experience
  • Differences in interpretation
  • Functioning and behavioral outcomes
  • Changes over time
  • Prior content and community exposure
  • Associations among measured variables
  • Themes that warrant future testing

The study does not automatically establish

  • One validated universal Relational Awakening construct
  • One causal mechanism
  • A metaphysical ontology
  • Another person’s private state
  • Mutuality or consent
  • A destined relationship
  • A stage
  • A guaranteed outcome
  • Union or reunion

Reported experience is valid as report. Interpretation is measured separately. A mechanism requires an appropriate design, recurrent descriptions are not replication, and similar phenomenology does not prove one cause.

Evidence-status ledger

Words carry specific research meanings

These definitions describe how the project uses evidence terms. “Demonstrated” and “replicated” are standards, not current project claims.

Reported
A participant or source stated it.
Described
A feature appeared in an account.
Interpreted
A person or source assigned meaning.
Associated
Variables varied together; causation not established.
Corroborated
A defined observation received independent support.
Preliminary
Analysis or evidence is incomplete.
Hypothesis
A proposition requiring testing.
Sensitizing concept
A guide for attention, not a validated construct.
Demonstrated
Supported by an appropriate completed analysis.
Replicated
Reproduced in sufficiently independent research.
Unresolved
Evidence does not support a conclusion.

Attribution and causation

Meaningful attribution is not automatic causal proof

Participants attributed the change to the relationship.

The relationship caused the transformation.

Consent and observable boundaries

Private inference does not establish another person’s wishes

Research-not-care boundary

What the study does not provide

  • Not therapy or emergency care The study is not a treatment or urgent-response service.
  • Not diagnosis or legal advice Participation does not provide clinical or legal conclusions.
  • Not coaching or spiritual direction The project does not guide a personal path or assign meaning.
  • Not divination or relationship mediation The project does not infer a private state, negotiate contact, or verify a relationship.
  • Not personalized interpretation Research findings do not determine what an individual experience means.

Public resource

Support is separate from research

Public support is available without participating. Using Help does not enroll you, determine eligibility, interpret study responses, or verify a belief.
